i missed out the chance to take a pic of the hotcakes though. hmmm.

on our way for moviess!
we took the very long 174 ride.




he kept insisting tht i got him a watch. (which i stubbornly didnt want to admit)
so i told him to listen close to the present for any ticking sound from the watch.
and he really did it.


look how hard he concentrates. (how could u possibly hear the ticking from a wrapped up box in a paper bag??)


then he gave up and went to sleep. so i camwhored!!







Movies at The Cathay!
the date is veri significant ok!

Ratatouille and No Reservations.
we thought we could catch more shows though.
both shows about cookery. i am starving by the end of both movies.

he wouldnt tell me where hes bringing me up till this point!
Dinner at the "Carnivore" situated in Chjimes.
by the name of it, u could guess what they serve.
MEAT.
we're having meat buffet!


the "sparkling water" they call it, belongs to that green bottle.
it tastes awfully bad. mineral water that tastes saltish and carbonated.


the right dish is for u to dip ur meat in if u tink they're too salty.
and the left for u to go with if u feel that they're oily.
(i dunno whats the three balls in the middle for.)


Appetizer! they're the only greens of the whole restaurant.


he's patiently anticipating the meat to come.

their buffet works whereby chefs/waiters go round with a huge stick of meat loaf (something like kebab). den they slice the meat onto ur plates.
and we are each given a round card that shows red on one side, green on the other.
Like traffic, green to show that u want more meat, and red to indicate that u have enough meat & stop giving!


he could finally get his "itch" scratched. haha.

and if i were to judge the food in accordance to their price, it is just satisfactory.
